News Room

President and CEO Warren S. Rosenfeld, Esq. has stepped down from those positions effective this past Tuesday, June 15, 2010, in order to pursue other opportunities both within and outside the collection industry.

This transition is part of the strategic plan developed by Mr. Rosenfeld and the Company co-founders, Stevan Goldman and Jeffrey Zuck, when Mr. Rosenfeld joined the Company five years ago. As part of that strategic plan, Mark Meisenbacher was retained as COO and CFO approximately one year ago. As anticipated, Mr. Meisenbacher will now assume the title of President, and will take full management control of the Company. Mr. Goldman and Mr. Zuck will continue to actively participate in the Company's strategic development in their roles as controlling shareholders and members of the Board.

Mr. Rosenfeld will remain as a Board member, a position he has held since 2005. He is a former president of NARCA and is a 30 year veteran of the collection industry.

Warren Rosenfeld states that "I have greatly enjoyed my time at YGC and I am very proud of the company's growth and evolution during my time here. I look forward to helping the company continue its growth beyond 2010 in whatever formal or informal capacity I may enjoy now that my scheduled time as President and CEO has expired. It has been rewarding to see the strategic plan drafted 5 years ago be executed as well as it was, and to know that the company can now move onto its next phase."

Hosto Buchan Prater & Lawrence, PLLC (“HBP&L”) is a litigation and collections law firm with offices in the states of Arkansas, Texas and Tennessee. The firm concentrates its practice in the areas of commercial and retail collections throughout these states. The firm has been a user of You’ve Got Claims (“YGC”) services for four years. Until recently, the firm only used YGC to receive collection data from debt collection clients.

Richard Williams, Director of IT for AXZAS Legal Support Providers, LLC (“AXZAS”), approached HBP&L about nine months ago, to propose using YGC to exchange data between AXZAS and the law firm. AXZAS had been the legal support service provider for HBP&L for about a year and during that time has performed court filing and service of process for them in several states. Chuck Buchan, a litigation partner in HBP&L, stated, “AXZAS has been our legal support service provider for about a year and during that time has performed court filing and service of process for us in Texas. We were extremely interested in this data exchange using YGC in that we anticipated converting a manual process into an electronic process. We were primarily interested in being able to receive useful data back from our legal support provider on a timely basis. This feature allowed our firm to concentrate on issues other than court filing dates and day to day service of process information.”

After the initial contact, AXZAS and HBP&L worked together to establish a YGC interface between the AXZAS document processing system and HBP&L’s debt processing software, Collection-Master® from CLS. The interface allowed AXZAS to receive service and filing information and to provide service updates back to HBP&L regarding filing dates, service of process attempts and completion. Currently the YGC-formatted information received back from AXZAS is reviewed by HBP&L staff before importing into Collection-Master®. Ultimately, the goal is to have this process fully automated so that the data can be read directly into the collection software without manual intervention.

"We're no longer working service manually … by using AXZAS and YGC we have increased the efficiency of our operations which directly translates to increased profitability.”   - Chuck Buchan, Litigation Partner, HBP&L

Upon completion and implementation of the YGC interface, Mr. Buchan said, “our service department is no longer tied up on the phones with courts, sheriffs, and constables. Through the use of the AXZAS and YGC interface we are able to review (the) exact status of a case in our system at any time…We're no longer working service manually, on a case by case basis. The updates show the status of service, skip attempts, and diary the accounts accordingly. We strongly believe that by using AXZAS and YGC we have increased the efficiency of our operations which directly translates to increased profitability.”
